Psychiatric Evaluation

Behavioral health is a connection between behaviors and the health and well-being of the body, mind, and spirit. Behavioral health informs our mental and physical health. While there is no single cause for mental health issues, according to the CDC, contributing factors include childhood experiences, biological/genetic factors, loneliness or isolation, and maladaptive coping strategies like using drugs or alcohol.

A psychiatric evaluation is an interview for clinical purposes where we will get to know each other. The evaluation process helps develop a treatment plan for those experiencing symptoms interfering with daily living. After the initial meeting, together we form a strategy. The initial meeting is 80 minutes.

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” ~ Maya Angelou.
