About the Staff

We all have experiences, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that influence who we are, and we are a product of all of this and our relationships. We aim to provide you with care through psychoeducational, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy. We take an integrated, holistic approach to each client, considering who you are and how we can support you to live your most fulfilled life.

Wanda is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who found her way to Psychiatry after working with medically complex clients for most of her career and identifying the interconnectedness of our physical and emotional health. Through experience in nursing practice, she noticed that behavioral and emotional wellness had played a significant part in those dealing with physical health issues. Getting well physically without caring for yourself emotionally and spiritually is difficult. Our body, mind, and spirit are not mutually exclusive, and each impacts the other. It became evident that mental health services were needed in this ever-changing world, and she followed the desire to make a difference and returned to school accordingly.

After graduating from Rivier College in Nashua, NH, in 1998, she went on to diverse experiences working in various settings, including acute cardiac care, hospice, intensive care, and oncology. Wanda is certified in Case Management (CCM) and Care Coordination and Transitional Care (CCCTM). Her psychiatric experience includes both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I have worked as a CCM for most of my career to achieve holistic client well-being by advocating for their needs and coordinating benefits and care while ensuring cost-effective services. My career has been devoted to organizing, facilitating, and evaluating care options to best meet an individual’s medical, mental, physical, and emotional health for the most complex situations.

Additionally, my skills as a CCTM ensure seamless care transitions and promote access to appropriate healthcare. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and have been Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) – Across the Age Span. As a PMHNP-BC, I am board-certified nationally to provide psychiatric care for patients with mental health issues across their lifespans.

Wanda is passionate about mood disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Wanda also completes evaluations for surgery.
